UPDATE:

All lanes reopened after earlier crash on I-71/75 in Fort Mitchell.

Kenton County crews are on scene of a crash that is blocking traffic on the interstate in Fort Mitchell.

The crash was reported on the northbound side of I-71/75 near the Buttermilk Pike exit at 7:51 a.m.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced the lane closure via social media. Delays of 5 minutes or longer are expected as the morning commute continues for motorists.

Traffic is moving slowly in the area and is backed up to the I-275 interchange. Alternate routes are advised at this time.
